Martha C. Lynch is a home based medical transcriptionist with experience in the field of medicine since 1981, at which time she began working in physicians offices and for a local hospital.  In physicians offices, her hands-on experience included office management, medical transcription, ICD-9 and CPT coding and billing, laboratory testing, collections, appointments, accounts receivables, pre-certification, assisting the physicians with exams and minor surgical procedures, physical therapy, marketing the practice to include the design of brochures and organization of seminars.  In the hospital setting, Martha worked in admitting and was responsible for switchboard operations, admitting, and transporting patients.
 
A native Houstonian, Martha attended North Harris County College, now Lone Star College-North Harris, and completed 28 hours toward an Associate of Arts degree, majoring in pre-medicine and obtaining a 3.14 GPA.  Studies included business English, algebra, trigonometry, psychology, and racquetball.

Typing Services of Houston began serving the Greater Houston and surrounding areas in 1991, transcribing in many areas of medicine, including but not limited to acute care, chiropractic, family medicine, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, laboratory, nephrology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, physiatry, plastic/cosmetic surgery, psychiatry, and radiology.
